This full-home renovation in Deer Lake, Burnaby transformed the house into a warm, functional West Coast transitional home designed for a growing family. The project focused on creating a bright, open-concept layout within a five-level split, encouraging connection while maintaining comfort and a strong sense of craftsmanship throughout.
Walls were removed to open the main floor and highlight the home’s vaulted ceilings, allowing the kitchen, dining, and living areas to flow seamlessly across the five-level split. At the center of the home is a custom kitchen, designed with timeless West Coast transitional influences and finished with durable, high-quality materials. Large windows and carefully considered sightlines bring in natural light, creating a warm and welcoming space for everyday living and entertaining.
A defining feature of this renovation is the attention to detail. Craftsman-inspired millwork, built-ins, and trim were thoughtfully integrated throughout, adding character and depth. From the millwork detailing to the custom cabinetry and outdoor BBQ station, every element was designed with intention to feel cohesive, functional, and enduring.
