Belrey Homes is a North Vancouver-based home renovation company and part of the Belrey Construction Group. We are family-owned and operated, with a passion for helping our neighbours achieve their dream homes.
Jeff and Bela started Belrey Homes to support our clients planning major renovations, not cosmetic refreshes or trendy upgrades. We understand the complexity of these jobs without the luxury-style pricing often associated.
We specialize in large-scale renovations, typically involving structural and foundation work. Our extensive network of engineers, architects, designers, and skilled trades makes us the one-stop partner for your home renovation.

Meet the Owners
Jeff Wallace, Owner/ Operations
Jeff has worked in construction for nearly 20 years and has specialized in basement lowering and major renovations since 2011. He leads project planning, client consultations, and oversees operations, ensuring each project is executed with a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
With a strong focus on structural integrity and practical design, Jeff works closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop well-executed solutions for complex renovations. He takes pride in delivering work that is both functional and built to last, with a consistent focus on quality and long-term performance.
Jeff’s entrepreneurial mindset started early, building and selling model homes as a teenager. Before founding his own company, he worked with Quinton Construction on heritage renovations and new builds in some of Vancouver’s most established neighbourhoods. He studied Commerce at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business and completed the Carpentry program at BCIT.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and hosting weekend dinners with extended family and friends.
Bela Soares, Owner/ Administration
Anabela (Bela) brings over two decades of experience in construction administration, having worked in the industry since 2001. She oversees the administrative side of the business, ensuring the financial and operational systems behind each project run smoothly and efficiently.
Known for her structured approach and attention to detail, Bela supports the organization and coordination required to keep projects running efficiently from start to finish.
Throughout her career, Bela has contributed to a number of significant projects across the Lower Mainland. Prior to co-founding her own company, she worked with Delta Land Development, contributing to major developments in Vancouver’s downtown core, including Hotel Georgia, Hawksworth Restaurant, and Bel Café. She also worked with the BC Construction Safety Alliance and continues to apply industry best practices in safety and operations. Bela holds multiple safety certifications, including Level C First Aid, WHMIS, and Occupational Health and Safety, and completed her Business Management certification at BCIT.
Outside of work, Bela enjoys staying active and spending time with her family.
